Signing of the Detailed Engineering Design Contract for Petronoor Energy Depot – Al-Haudi

Flash Point Engineering is pleased to announce the signing of the Detailed Engineering Design Contract for the Petronoor Energy Storage Depot located in Al-Haudi, River Nile State.

The contract was signed on behalf of Flash Point Engineering by Eng. Mohammed Abdelrahman, Engineering Manager, and on behalf of Petronoor Energy by Mr. Qussai Abdelkarim, Operations Manager. This agreement marks the formal commencement of the detailed engineering phase for the development of a strategic petroleum storage facility serving the region.

The Petronoor Energy Depot is planned as a modern petroleum storage and handling facility designed to meet regulatory, operational, and safety requirements. The project aims to support the secure storage and controlled distribution of petroleum products while ensuring long-term operational reliability and environmental protection.

Flash Point Engineering has been appointed to deliver a fully integrated engineering solution, covering regulatory approvals, detailed design, and technical documentation in alignment with national requirements and recognized international standards.


The scope of services under this contract includes, but is not limited to:

  • Preparation of complete Sudanese Petroleum Corporation (SPC) approval packages
  • Execution of full detailed engineering across relevant disciplines
  • Development of engineering calculations, reports, and technical narratives
  • Preparation of detailed drawings, layouts, and material take-offs
  • Verification of compliance with applicable international codes, standards, and safety regulations

This project represents an important milestone in the development of safe, efficient, and compliant petroleum infrastructure in Sudan. By adopting a structured and standards-driven engineering approach, the project will enhance operational safety, reduce future modification risks, and support sustainable facility operation.
