As a main contractor for Nawafel Petroleum Company’s Port Sudan Strategic Storage Depot, the
installation of Cathodic Protection System Phase (1) was successfully executed by Flash Point
Engineering. This comprehensive project included both external and internal protection for various
storage tanks. For Gasoil and Gasoline Tanks, the anode net was connected by welding ribbon
anodes to conductors and feeders, with meticulous protection of cables and connection of reference
electrode cables according to the approved drawings ensuring durability and longevity. Similarly, for
the Water Tank, anodes were properly connected as per the approved design, adhering to stringent
standards. The project demanded precise installation and testing in accordance with the approved
designs and drawings
