As part of this project, we delivered a complete front-end and detailed engineering package for a new LPG depot, covering all technical, safety, and regulatory requirements necessary for construction and commissioning.
Our scope included the development of a high-accuracy 3D model and an optimized plant layout, ensuring proper equipment spacing, safe access routes, and full compliance with international LPG safety standards. The LPG process design was supported by comprehensive Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), detailing operating conditions, control philosophy, safety interlocks, and emergency shutdown systems.
In parallel, we engineered the firefighting and fire protection systems, including detailed firefighting P&IDs covering hydrants, monitors, foam systems, pumps, and detection interfaces, fully coordinated with the LPG process design.
To validate the engineering design, we issued a series of design verification reports, confirming compliance with applicable codes and standards (such as NFPA, API, and relevant local regulations). This was followed by a Commissioning Verification Report for the LPG system, ensuring readiness for safe startup and operation.
Based on site and operational requirements, we also prepared modifications and improvement reports for both the LPG system and the firefighting system, addressing risk mitigation, operational efficiency, and long-term reliability.
Finally, we delivered the complete construction and as-built drawings package, fully aligned with regulatory requirements and sufficient to obtain SPC approval for construction and commissioning of the new LPG depot.
